I’ve always been bad at photos and videos where I must show off. And you know what? I’m an advertiser. Yes, that’s what I’ve got graduated from in my personal prehistory, many, many years ago. So, I understand about selling, but the truth is I’m still working on how to sell myself. I know perfectly well that it is a big problem to make a living being a freelancer in the world of Yoga visuals on social media. Even more so if you are a one clown circus! Without the help of some friends, my husband and a camera timer, there wouldn’t be much to show you.
Every time I pop on this wall, the interaction goes up. I’m convinced that, for us to start talking about more interesting topics, “the crowd” first notices my face, my poses or the scenery. But I am confident that we will keep a balance.
This statement is to encourage you to share our experiences and thoughts, to express our reflections and doubts, not only to comment on nice things, although they are always welcome.
I am convinced an asana is not only the form represented in a photo, but the invisible connection felt when exploring through the body. It is curious how at that instant and place something is perceived, but when you want to describe it, it is gone. That’s why I think it’s difficult to condense YOGA into a single concept. I like personal descriptions, ideas inspired by practice or personal searches, would you share yours?
